We offer nearly 20 different group exercise classes designed for all levels of activity and focused on developing strong, healthy bodies. You can purchase your Group Exercise Class Package through the Front Desk.

Adult Swim Lessons

It's never too late to learn to swim! Do you not know how to swim? Feel comfortable in the water, but want to be a better swimmer? Do you need to improve stroke techniques to swim more efficiently? Hire one of our swim instructors for private or small group lessons. Lesson are 30 minutes long.

Indoor Triathlon

Each year the we put on an indoor triathlon. The triathlon is a great way for a beginner to experience a triathlon and also your elite triathlete to get in some training. This event happens in February/March each year. This Indoor Triathlon is also part of the West Michigan Indoor Triathlon Series. Small Group Programs

Small Group Personal Training is a revolutionary, life changing experience!

Benefits are:

  • You will meet and workout in a Small Group Training session 2 times a week, (totaling 12 sessions), with your own personal trainer.
  • You will also meet with your trainer separately to help you with your meal plans and all the tips you need to get healthy.
  • Counting on your trainer to be available to you via personal phone call, email or text throughout the 6 week program.
  • 6 weeks of group exercise classes, visiting as many classes or instructors as you wish.  This is a great way to try out all of the classes that SLCFAC has to offer.

There are many trainers and times to choose from.

Martial Arts

The SLCFAC is proud to host martial arts with Bulldog Martial Arts. The martial arts program is a great opportunity to learn self defense for numerous career fields and is open to adults and children.

Pickleball

Pickleball is a fun game that is played on a badminton court with the net lowered to 34 inches at the center. It is played with a perforated plastic baseball (similar to a whiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles. It is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

The Spring Lake Community Fitness and Aquatic Center offers open pickleball times for those that are beginners, intermediate or advance. Check our online schedule for open pickleball times or call ahead at 616-847-5858.

Multipurpose Room Calendar

Lifeguard Certification / Re-certification Courses (15 and up)

Candidates will be certified or re-certified as an American Red Cross Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR/FA, AED. For re-certification participants must have held current certifications within the 90 days. Next Session: Click here for current session.

CPR/AED/FIRST AID Course

Candidates will be certified or recertified in American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid. Participants must have held current certifications within the last 90 days. Next Class: Summer/Fall 2015  Dates and times TBA.

Swim Fit

Swimmers ages 18 and up who are interested in a good community workout.  This program is open to all adult swimmers (fitness, tri-athlete, competitive, non-competitive) who are dedicated to improving their fitness through swimming. Workouts, conducted by an instructor, are designed to help swimmers improve fitness and/or train for specific goals, and offer active support for a healthy lifestyle through friendship and camaraderie.
